Experiment 1 and Mock Exam Piece

Image result for people with animal heads street photography

These are some examples of what I want my final piece to look like. I will try to change the picture slightly so that my piece will look different to these pictures. I will take a picture of people in the street, and pictures of different animals, and then will photoshop the animals head onto the people in the street.

Emulation Pictures

I think my final image went ok, I think the setting of the image was okay, but I think the there were a lot of added bits that made the image look more different. I think the people looked similar to the original photo. To make the picture better, I could of removed all the added parts, for example, coats etc. The middle person also should of looked the opposite was to improve the picture, and make it look more like the original.

About The Image

About the image

After copying the picture, I now have an idea of how the image was taken. I believe that the image was taken with a normal shutter speed, this is because there is no moving objects, and there is no blur around the subjects. I think the ISO of the image would be mid-high, this is because the image is not to dark, or to light. The image was probably taken with a high aperture, as everything is in focus. I do not think that a tripod was used to take this image, this is because the image is candid, which means the people do not know it is being taken, which would be difficult to do with a tripod. The image is taken in colour, which makes it different to most street art images.
To take this image, the artist needed to organise a photoshoot, and take a number of pictures. They did this secretly so the subjects did not know that they were being photographed. They then transferred the images onto photoshop, this is so they can edit the images levels.
When I take these images, the things I will keep the same are, colour, some images I will take in colour, but I will also take a few in black and white. I will keep the images candid, so people do not know I am taking them. This adds to the effect of street art. I will try and keep the setting similar also, this is so it looks like I am using inspiration from the artist. To complete this task, I will need a camera, and also I will need photoshop.
